PistaWines was born in 2020 from passion and courage of an old ambition, as inevitable as it is daring. Because they believe that personal wines have a place in the market. And in professionals who work with nature and not only for market share. Because Pista believes in moments that bring people closer to what brings them joy.

Since the dawn of Portugal, the Castle of Alter do Chão has served as a residence and symbol of their identity. This is their land, the cradle where the Pista dream of also building a House for the future was born.
Identity
Pista believes in the past. In honoring it, without having to live in it. They believe in the passion to improve. In what is new. And that this need not be complicated.
They believe in wine. As art and work, as conversation and affirmation.

The elegance of being, as a charisma that inspires others. A way of being, put into practice every day in our lives.

Nature
Pista supports Nature’s magic. In respect for its rhythm, on occasion and in getting it right. They make wines in respect for the grape, produced with little or no human intervention, allowing the grapes and nature to express their unique characteristics.

Pista believes that we do every day should endure in everyone’s memory. It is for our children and for our grandchildren, so that everyone in the future can do better, on a preserved planet.

TAPADA DA FONTE
The first-born Pista Wines.
The first brand of the domaine inaugurates Pista's production of wines from grape varieties suited to authentic Alentejo terroir, with the creator’s mark and for a market of people who value it.
Tapada da Fonte was produced with care for nature, for the people of today and tomorrow. It is born from an independent spirit and good taste for a free, conscious, and sustainable way of life.
Property located in Alter Pedroso with 5 hectares, of which 4 are planted with vines. The red varieties planted are Touriga Nacional, Alicante Bouschet, Petit Verdot and Syrah, and white varieties are Alvarinho, Arinto and Verdelho.
