A story of two friends who love wine and the region in which they live:
The adventure began in 2012. A "landless winegrower", Simon Forgue surrounded himself with family and friends to create Vignobles de Pyrénaïa, in Mazères-Lezons, at the foot of the Jurançon hills.
With no vineyard and no château, they transformed an old body shop into a production cellar. Through meetings and exchanges, they forged links with local winegrowers to harvest quality grapes from the best terroirs every year.
The entire production is then vinified, matured and bottled in the winery.
2018... A new stage started with the construction of their own winery and the arrival of Frédéric Borde.
The Pyrenean foothills offer a formidable patchwork of terroirs that are all too often overlooked, and every day they strive to make the most of them. Harvesting selected grapes from Pyrenean terroirs, vinifying them with passion, and crafting wines that bring people together to share and enjoy.
Pyrénaïa wines are distinctive, racy and complex, made from the best plots of land, revealing the quintessence of a very special terroir.
Red, white, rosé and bubbles!
The wines are made from a unique blend each vintage.
Wines for sharing, aromatic, fresh and gourmet. Cap A Cap, which means "head to head" in Occitan, may not be able to change the world, but it can help you remake it!
Untiring epicurean, this is your wine.
Premier level wines: Cairn, Estive and Dahu.
